These gorgeous covers are from a recent trip to my favorite bookstore, 192 Books in Chelsea. Houdini is from Yale Univ Press. Kimberly Glyder designed and illustrated the Marilyn Monroe cover. That Glyder cover is just wonderful. I do hope the finishing on that one respects the design. The Pasta cover is Brilliant, but what a fucking title to work with—Pasta shapes. Could have a field day with that one...
I think Glyder's cover is on Matte with a spot gloss on the type...either way, it feels good in the store. There's a cute cartoon for that Pasta book going on at Glamazon:
