Beautiful, chilling cover to a collection of short stories. I love the sculptural quality of the waves. The title story takes place aboard a Vietnamese fishing trawler crowded with refugees, where a young woman's bond with a mother and her small son forces both women to a shattering decision. This is a Knopf book - anyone know who designed it?

Carol Devine Carson is the designer, I believe.
