Will Staehle: Manhood for Amateurs
Will Staehle designs this new collection of autobiographical essays in the style of Chabon's previous novel, The Yiddish Policemen's Union. The jacket comes off to reveal further art printed on the case...however I don't think the spinner actually spins. Fab!

Great art cover, indeed. The spinner has to spin! That's the fun of it!
If you're looking for a spinner that spins, pick up The Talking Horse by Mark Haddon.
"Yiddish" remains one of my favorite covers of pure experiential indulgence: Have you read the book and still have time to kill before you get to the library? Read the cover for awhile. Staehle kills again.
It's good, but I saw it in the bookstore yesterday and it's very delicate. I was shocked at how thin the actual jacket felt, particular for a jacket with die cuts.
The design of the novel is so funny. And also a little marvelous.
