Essays/Wallace Shawn
A new book of essays by the actor and playwright. The photo, interestingly, seems about 20 years old, from his Princess Bride days, even though the essays are current. I love the simplicity of the design, which appears to be an homage to Paul Rand.

Love the simplicity of the cover.
I think it was smart using his face on the cover, but not a 'glamour shot' but instead in the peephole effect. He's so recognizable, but I bet there are lots of people that wouldn't recognize him by name only.
he's Incontheivable!
yeth! egthactly.
Great cover. Pitch perfect. Certainly more awesome than a land war.... IN ASIA!!!!!
This cover has a great balance— I love the simplicity.
ps. Wallace, where can I get that black and white scarf?!?
at the iocane powder store, I bet.
I had no idea the annoying little fucker from Princess Bride was some noteworthy writer/play writer...
Great image and hand-done type.
I saw him in the cafeteria of an office building I was working in, in Stamford, CT. He was eating lunch. I couldn't figure out who he was, but I recognized him from some movie or TV show. He noticed me staring at him, and smiled. He's a lot older than this photo, for sure.
So now I know his name.
