Roberto de Vicq de Cumptich: Little Bee
There's so much here to love, but my favorite part of this jacket is the author type. Anyone know if this is an actual typeface or found type? It breaks my heart.

Yeah, this is one that is hard to get your eyes off of in the bookstore. I have seen covers like this here and there, but this one, coupled with the strong colors and elegant type really makes for a striking cover amongst others...
I believe the typeface is Stereopticon. (Could be known by other names as well.)
This is stunning. I saw it in the bookstore today. Printed on non-finish orange paper, the silhouette is glossy. The back cover is great as well - a circus-poster-like juxtaposition of type.
amazing typography....thanks for sharing. I need to go give this a look.
Oh yeah, you had a couple of recent threads on roberto de vicq de cumptich... jesus, the guy is fucking brilliant.
I guess one of the things I admire about these designers is their ability to find the right folks to collaborate with on stuff. Makes you wonder about how financially viable the whole process is for them...
