David Drummond: Can I Have a Word with You?
This is adorable. The book is about how words come to mean what they mean and how word meanings change over time. So it's great that the very definition for the word "word" is pointed out on the cover. I think it all works very simply and well. Upon further reflection, the wood background recalls a pupil's desk at school.

Is this a real book? I can find no record of it...?

love everything except the title font.
I took a second look at it, and noticed that the little fortune cookie paper is actually on a perspective, so the viewer is not directly above it. Gives it some interesting dimension.
This is nice. Tells you what the book is about (no need to read the back cover!). Plus I love a font with a small 'a' such as here.
